Who we are
The Human Factored is a private network run from 7400 Meridian Commons Drive, Suite 310, Falls Church, VA 22042. Phone (240) 780-8412.
What sign-in collects
Sign-in uses Google. We receive and store the name and email address on that Google account, and a sign-in cookie named hf.sid so you stay signed in. We do not receive your Google password. Microsoft and LinkedIn appear only if those sign-ins are turned on.
What you add
Profiles, projects, messages, meeting notes, and the office’s record of a consultant’s $108 year are stored so the network can operate. A listing shown to the other side does not include your name, email, mobile number, website, or business name. The office can see those fields, can read every chat, and does not post in the chat.
Who else receives it
The platform is not sold as a list, and we do not sell personal information. The host that runs the site and the database stores the data to provide the service. Google receives the sign-in request because you sign in with Google. A business and a consultant see each other’s listed profile only after the office approves it, and they see contact details in the product only when the product’s own rules allow it.
How long it stays
Account and listing records stay while the account is in use. An archived record is hidden from other people and kept for the office. You can ask the office to correct a listed record, or to close an account, by calling or emailing the office.
